Hi, that’s me with my guitar in the picture, Robyn. I’m the owner of Tantrum Scentrum and the lead guitarist of Tantrum Zentrum.

There are beautiful herbal, homegrown-botanical, lightly scented, cloudy, dreamy soaps that are wonderfully nourishing, regenerating and a pleasure to behold…

I love the fact that people make them so well, but what I REALLY love is soap that smells richly foodie, looks like it belongs in a tree or the sky or in a box of gems, and leaves my skin feeling like it’s been treated to a swim in a lagoon or a shower in the spray of a huge waterfall.

Like music, smell can be a fantastic memory prodder. I don’t hope to understand the neuro-science behind it all, I just know that one of my greatest pleasures is the visual delight, the breath-deepening joy of a great smell and the tangible sensation of a richly lathering, creamy, warm-scented solid bar of soap, shampoo or conditioner.

These are the sensations I hope to impart with each hand-crafted, hand-sized piece of treasure and this is what drew me towards soap-making: a kind of alchemy that is ancient and fantastic.
