The Peppermint Percussionist – A courageous amount of peppermint for a punchy bar.

Percussionists are the backbone of every band and that’s easily seen at the end of a gig when they reach for a clean shirt to be dry in. Here’s a soap bar that’ll freshen them up with rescuing rosemary and the sweet power of peppermint.

ESSENTIAL OIL BLEND

Peppermint Oil -  a sweet and camphoraceous smelling oil filled with anti-inflammatory goodness for those hard working muscles.

Rosemary Oil - a herb filled with antioxidant as well as antimicrobial properties. Rosemary to the rescue!

Lemongrass Oil is citrusy-sweet and camphoraceous at the same time. It has great properties including being a fantastic insect repellent but it’s also analgesic (pain reducing), an antidepressant, antimicrobial and has antiseptic properties. 

Key Components

Olive Oil - known for its antioxidant properties, helps keep skin hydrated and moisturised.

Coconut Oil - high in fatty acids including vitamin E, which protects the skin from oxidative damage and offers a rich moisturising feel.

Cocoa butter - rich in fatty acids for hydrating and protecting the skin whilst improving elasticity.

Glycerine occurs naturally during saponification. It protects the skin from environmental sources of irritation and leaves skin amazingly soft and supple.

Spirulina. Spirulina is an ancient blue-green algae that contains a huge amount of plant-based nutrients. Grown underwater, and therefore easy to maintain organically, it’s packed with fibre, B vitamins, manganese, iron and calcium. It also happens to be the greenest of greens - perfect for colouring soap naturally.

Sodium Olivate (Olive oil), Sodium Cocoate (Coconut oil), Sodium Cocoa Butterate (Cocoa Butter), Aqua, Glycerin, Mentha Piperata Oil (Peppermint), Mahinot Esculenta Tuber Extract (Tapioca Pearls), Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Oil (Rosemary), Spirulina Platensis Powder, Cymbopogon Citratus Oil (Lemongrass), CI77891 (Titanium Dioxide). Naturally occuring in essential oils: Citral, Limonene, Citronellol & Geraniol.

Formulation

All Tantrum Scentrum formulations are unique recipes assessed by Cosmetic Safety Assessors accredited by the UK and EU.

Our soap has non-drying formulae providing the joy of smooth, intense moisture for nourished skin. None of the glycerin is removed unlike mass-produced soap. Glycerin is a naturally occurring result of saponification (the process soap goes through when its curing) and as glycerin is a humectant (a substance that helps reduce the loss of skin moisture) you don’t have that dried palm sensation.
