Rock Star Anise-ed – A black & black (and gold) & black, ANISEED bar.

All of our soaps are music inspired so there had to be a rock star in the collection. For this soap a golden star anise sits in a bed of the darkest charcoal blackness. A richly spiced aroma of aniseed and sweet fruit and tweaked with heat from black pepper for a muscle relaxing soak after a sweaty night out under the bright lights.

Tip: rest on the decorated side after use. It stops soap from glueing itself to the tin or other surfaces.

ESSENTIAL OIL BLEND

Aniseed Oil  invoking memories of licorice and candies contains antispasmodic properties that, when used in massage, can help soothe muscle spasms.

Red Mandarin Oil is one of the sweetest citrus oils which boasts powerful antiseptic qualities but which can also aid muscle relaxation.

Black Pepper Oil is known to increase blood circulation in joints and relieve muscle soreness. It’s also known as a great decongestant and expectorant for respiratory infections. 

Lemongrass Oil is citrusy-sweet but camphoraceous at the same time. It has great properties including being a fantastic insect repellent but it’s also analgesic, an antidepressant, antimicrobial and has antiseptic properties too.

Key Components

Olive Oil reduces the signs of ageing due to its antioxidant properties. It leaves the skin hydrated and moisturised.

Coconut Oil is well known for its softening effects, it is rich in vitamin E and proteins which moisturise and protect the skin.

Cocoa butter is rich in fatty acids and antioxidants, it deeply hydrates and protects the skin, improving elasticity.

Activated Charcoal - This pharmaceutical grade natural colourant for cosmetics is a fine black powder, known for its detoxifying properties now found in a range of skincare products, from facial cleansers, acne treatments, face masks, body scrubs to natural deodorants and toothpaste. It's also the blackest of blacks and all natural.

Naturally occurring in essential oils: Limonene, Linalool, Citral, Geraniol.

Formulation

All Tantrum Scentrum formulations are unique recipes assessed by Cosmetic Safety Assessors accredited by the UK and EU.

Our soap has non-drying formulae providing the joy of smooth, intense moisture for nourished skin. None of the glycerin is removed unlike mass-produced soap. Glycerin is a naturally occurring result of saponification (the process soap goes through when its curing) and as glycerin is a humectant (a substance that helps reduce the loss of skin moisture) you don’t have that dried palm sensation.
