Okay - it’s not made of tin but the word ‘container’ wasn’t doing it for me. It’s actually made of aluminium. Tin is great but tin rusts, or rather the iron in it rusts making it not particularly suitable for water-based skincare products. 

Another great reason for having an aluminium case for your soap is that it's unbreakable and lightweight - perfect for travelling, protective, not to mention funky. It’s not PLASTIC which we definitely need to avoid for the sake of our dear planet. Aluminium can be recycled forever and is currently the most recycled packaging in Europe.

The lining in the lid of our aluminium containers has a low moisture transition rate and protects the product inside from reactive elements in the air, helping to reduce perishability, keeping your soap fresher for longer.
